Istanbul Exercises

My short trip to Istanbulin July 2025 was devoted to storytelling.

My personal goal was to get closer. I pushed my limits by taking a photograph of a bearded fisherman on the Galata Bridge. Doing it with a 23 mm lens (35 mm full-frame equivalent) meant putting my camera almost in his face.

The photograph I like most, however, required only patience. The scene unfolded in front of me as I sat down in the forecourt outside the New Mosque, looking for some rest at the end of the last photo walk.
